Ramapo for Children Workshop: Intro to Trauma informed Practice

In this workshop we will Identify what primary and secondary trauma is and how they present in young people and adults. Understand how trauma impacts the brain, bodies, and therefore influences behavior of young people. Prepare to support themselves and other staff in practicing self-care and reducing the risks of secondary trauma. Identify tools for increasing a sense of safety and equity among young people and adults.
